Welcome to our New Blog!

And this one is for Ella Claire! Ella is our new daughter from Beijing, China. We are very excited to be starting this process all over again. Kevin assures me that we don't have to finish the whole process in one week - but I am pretty determined to get through the paper work as quickly as I can so that I can get back to mothering the three daughters I have already. Then we will wait!

This afternoon we sent off our "Letter of Intent" and are waiting for our "PA".... we will be watching our timeline from Mia's journey to see how long it takes in comparison.

It all started a few weeks ago when we heard that our agency had a special needs list coming out. Just for the fun of it... and to begin some investigation into the "possibility" of adding one more daughter.... we decided to register to have a look! It took about ten minutes and we had our daughter! Then to our utter amazement, we heard this sweet voice and were able to actually see a video of her talking in the most precious little voice! If you saw her picture and heard her sweet little voice on the video, you would understand how our hearts have been pulled back to China! She had us within minutes! Here we go again! Only this time, it's a curly-headed little Chinese sweetheart only 3 months younger than Mia! We are anticipating a wild ride! She is darling and wonderful and we can't wait to get her!

  3. Now I see!!! This information wasn't on here this morning when I e-mailed you, or either my school internet wouldn't let me read it. We, too, have been looking at the list, but her picture must have been "blocked" by the time I looked. I am so excited for you!!!! You and I certainly know how you can be taken in from just looking at a picture, but to also hear her voice must have just been amazing. Wow! What a tremendous blessing----only God!
    Congratulations!
