Summer Fun

We've had fun this summer - went to the beach for awhile. On the 4th of July our whole family got into the new Free Style Musical Theme Park for $17.00! It was a great deal, even though we waited in line for over an hour in 100 degrees.

Our I800A is on its Way!!

Just thought you would want to know... our immigration approval is complete and the official notice is on the way from Charlotte! So the next step is to drive to Raleigh to have all of our state documents sealed! We are still running a bit behind Mia's timeline due to the changes in the paperwork requirements (mailing it all to Chicago and the "no-expediting" for special needs), but this approval since the fingerprinting is quicker than the last time! So happy!!!

Baby Steps

We have made a few baby steps toward Ella Claire!

We heard from Chicago and have a fingerprint appointment in Charlotte on July 14th. That is a big deal - you never know how long you will have to wait for those immigration appointments.

And Mia has a US Passport in preparation for her big trip back to China. We are planning to take her with us when we go so that she is part of the whole process. We know it will be quite an adjustment for her to share Mom and Dad with another sister, but if she is there when it all first happens we are hoping she understands and helps Ella to make the transition.

And that's all that has happened! We are waiting eagerly for the final paper to arrive after the fingerprint approval so that we can have our Dossier sealed and ready to mail. Then the real wait will begin!
